Heather was born and raised on the beautiful Alabama Gulf coast and her strong connection to the area makes her a perfect fit for the Residence Director position at our Foley, AL location. She is a caring, fun-loving, inspired leader who has a deep passion for our residents. Her 13 years serving as the Supervisor of Student Support for Columbia Southern University was a rewarding time as she accompanied them along their academic journey. Having that knowledge to draw from has proven invaluable as the daily lives of many IRH residents of the same age and season in life cross through the threshold of IRH Foley.
She has been married to her best friend, husband Gene, for 15 years and is blessed to be the mother of three beautiful daughters as well as two dogs Milo and Stormie. An active family that takes full advantage of the beautiful Gulf shores, you can find them on the volleyball court as they have a deep connection to the sport.
She has a passion for travel and it has been expressed in her six year career as a travel agent, creating moments that last a lifetime for families who seek to see other cultures and experiences outside of our borders. Her fascination and connection to many of the countries that our residents reside in has been a wonderful resource to form bonds of understanding and compassion with them. Her vibrant smile and infectious personality motivates the staff of IRH Foley to strive for excellence while providing a home away from home for those on our campus.
