Ashlee Anderson
Residence Director
Ashlee Anderson is the Residence Director at IRH Myrtle Beach. Born and raised in Whiteville, NC, she has always been drawn to the beach, spending time there with family and friends enjoying the local food and entertainment. Ashlee’s love for music has been a lifelong passion—she played clarinet in marching and symphonic bands through college and continues to perform in a local community band. She also leads the praise team at her church, combining her musical talents with her dedication to service.
Ashlee grew up in the hospitality industry, helping at her father’s seafood restaurant from an early age. This experience sparked her love for restaurants, the fast-paced environment, and most importantly, the people. Her passion for serving others led her to earn a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke and a master’s degree in Public Administration from North Carolina Central University, a historically black university. She brings leadership and management experience to IRH, where she is excited to make a positive impact on residents and the community.
Faith, family, and community are at the heart of everything Ashlee does. She credits them for her resilience and perseverance through life’s challenges. When she’s not working, she enjoys spending time with loved ones, serving her local church, and searching for the best food and live music spots—when her German Shepherd allows it!
